Anti-Corruption Coordination Specialist,

Proposal Summary:
The purpose of this five-year project is to increase the Government of Liberia's capacity to prevent, investigate, and prosecute corruption, including within the justice sector, and to educate the public regarding the fight against corruption in Liberia. This project will primarily provide technical assistance and support to the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC). In addition, it will also support the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) regarding coordination with the LACC, and civil society and media organizations engaged in anti-corruption initiatives. This is a full-time position.

Position Summary:
- Provide technical assistance and support to ensure that LACC is formulating, coordinating, and leading the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy including producing a NACS progress report for dissemination to key stakeholders.
- Provide support and technical assistance to LACC to ensure it is actively chairing the National Integrity Forum and developing more productive, cooperative and collaborative relations with other GOL integrity agencies.
- In consultation with LACC and the Governance Commission, develop a MOU between the NACSC and NIF.
- Provide technical assistance and support for key legislative and public affairs activities under the Commissioner for Education and Prevention in areas such as managing relationships with the legislature, and creating and implementing LACC's communications strategy and policies.
- Support for the drafting and passage of more effective anti-corruption legislation
- Support the LACC to assist GOL ministries, agencies and commissions to implement legally mandated corruption prevention and transparency enhancing systems, and assist with their improvement, including through regulatory development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in political science, organizational development or public administration or in similar fields; Law degree preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years' experience of similar experience in support of government agencies.
- Experience working on USAID or other donor-funded projects.
