Proposal Summary:
The five-year USAID Learning Contract will help USAID/Uganda strengthen its performance and, to a lesser extent the performance of its implementing partners, in collaborating, learning and performing in order to fortify the impact and sustainability of USAID-supported contributions to Uganda's development.

Position Summary:
MSI is seeking two (2) editors to provide editing on a variety of reports, desk reviews, and evaluations for the Uganda Learning Contract. Topics covered range across sectors, including democracy and governance, education, economic development and monitoring and evaluation. Positions are part-time depending on client demand.
Responsibilities:
- Edit documents for clarity, readability, and grammatical correctness including evaluation reports, desk reviews, past performance reports, and annual reports, publications, etc. on a variety of international development topics.
- Format report and ensure consistency with USAID branded reporting requirements and compliance with section 508 requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, social science or other relevant field.
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience writing and/or editing technical reports.
- Knowledge of the Associated Press (AP) writing style guide.
- Experience working with organizations in humanitarian/development contexts, USAID experience preferred.
- Excellent story-telling, writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Fluency in English.
