Position Summary:
Working in partnership with MSI's home office hiring managers, the Recruiter is responsible for the identification, screening, interviewing and referral of candidates for employment with MSI. This position is based in Arlington, Va. and will report to the Director of Human Resources.

Responsibilities:
Full Life Cycle Recruitment

  • Provide full life cycle recruitment efforts for U.S. based positions, including posting jobs internally and externally, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, making offers of employment, and acting as first point of contact for interviewees.
  • Develop and implement recruitment best practices; ensures proactive and continual networking efforts to maintain a pipeline of qualified talent.
  • Identify appropriate outreach opportunities and represents MSI at career fairs, professional conferences and networking events.
  • Serve as administrator and primary liaison for OFCCP recruitment websites
  • Track all recruitment activity and manage the applicant tracking system for all home office positions.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment tools and procedures and provide hiring managers with appropriate training, advising on staffing procedure and policies.
  • Establish verified biodata sheets for all new employees to ensure federal contracting compliance.
  • Assist hiring managers with refining job descriptions.
  • Work in collaboration with the onboarding HR team.
  • Process all recruitment invoices for candidate travel expenses.
  • Track HR metrics, inclusive of organizational recruitment efforts
  • Provide surge support to proposal recruitment team to screen and select candidates for active bids.
  • Collaborate with other Tetra Tech Operating Units on various joint recruitment efforts. Internship Program Recruitment

  • Responsible for all recruitment efforts to staff the organizations Intern program, including the Summer Intern component.**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree business or a related field or a combination of education and experience.

  • Two (2) to Four (4) years of work experience, including experience in full lifecycle recruiting, preferably within the international development sector.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully source, screen, and interview candidates.

  • Understanding of Affirmation Action and other HR/Recruitment legal requirements.

  • High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

  • High standard of sensitivity with confidential information.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent multi-tasking, organization and time management skills.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge and ability to use current social media technologies, Application Tracking Systems, and other various online databases

Physical demands & work environment:

  • Office setting.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
