Project Summary:
The Armenia Support Initiative seeks to support the Armenian governments technical and operational capacities to define and deliver on its democratic reform agenda; sustain public support for and engagement in the reform process; and, provide punctual, strategic technical assistance across all levels of government.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the collection, organization, written analysis, and dissemination of written program information and provides advice and inputs for strategic communication activities. S/he drafts regular program reports and serves as a communications resource to Program Teams. S/he leads the development of written information about program activities and impact, including success stories, one-pagers, and other information products, in coordination with the Program Teams. This position will be based in Yerevan.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support, management, and oversight of all media-related activities.
Develop project-related communication and outreach strategies to ensure effective public awareness, and effective integration and coordination across all program components.
Produce bi-weekly program newsletter.
Ensure project compliance with the Branding and Marking Plan.
Work closely with staff to develop stories and online content on program activities and achievements.
Draft, write and edit written materials in English and Armenian including success stories, newsletters, factsheets, action research products, outreach materials, and other communication products.
Maintain the program photo gallery.
Travel to project field sites as necessary to gather communications information.
Spoken and written English and Armenian is required.
Qualifications:
University degree in English, journalism, communications, communication arts, public relations or a related field.
At least two (2) years of experience in communications, reporting or a related field.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent writing skills in English.
Written and spoken English and Armenian.
