Proposal Summary: **

MSI is responding to a Request for Quotation for a contract delivering Professional and Organizational Development services to USAID's Global Health Bureau. USAID's Bureau for Global Health provides worldwide leadership and technical expertise in areas including child survival, maternal health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, population and reproductive health services, health systems strengthening, health policy and environmental health. The contract will provide a variety of professional development activities for health sector staff world-wide that will focus on skills and competencies in health sector technical areas, management, leadership, personal and team effectiveness and staff performance management as well as organizational development activities, such as retreats and strategic meetings.

Position Summary:

The mid-level Trainer/Facilitator will offer technical expertise in training and facilitation of Professional Development (PD) and Organizational Development (OD) events provided both in DC and overseas.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training activities, including instructor-led courses/workshops, webinars, and/or other blended learning activities.
  • Serve as a liaison for professional development trainings and events facilitated by other trainers and between the client and the facilitator(s), and provide support to the management, coordination and delivery of those events.
  • Work with a range of subject matter experts (consultants or subcontractors) to design and provide training on different topics.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in of related working experience, including at least three years in professional training, facilitation or curriculum design.
  • Master's degree in a relevant subject area (e.g. training, professional development, organizational development, etc.)
  • Extensive experience providing professional training and/or event facilitation. International experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must.
  • Experience with multiple methods of delivering professional development activities (e.g. in-person, e-learning, webinar, etc.).
