Project Summary:
This three-year USAID Central Africa Regional Third Party Monitoring (CART) project will establish independent, impartial, timely, responsive, contextualized, and forward-looking third party monitoring (TPM) and operational support services. CART will provide a comprehensive range of verification and outcome monitoring, and learning services that will increase USAID's Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance and its implementing partners' (IP) understanding of the outputs, outcomes, progress, challenges, successes, results, and lessons learned for both emergency and non-emergency activities within CAR, DRC and ROC. This project seeks to improve USAID/BHA's capability to utilize humanitarian assistance resources to ameliorate the drivers of poverty and malnutrition characterized by complex emergencies within the region.

Position Summary:
The Office Assistant will provide financial, administrative, and operational tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the CART project.
Responsibilities:
Maintain office, finance, and purchase order files, databases and assist with recording the purchasing of supplies
Support procurement actions of office supplies and materials (e.g., for workshops)
Ensure an adequate supply of office materials (paper, toner, stationary, cleaning substances, toiletries etc.) for the day-to-day running of the office
Support administrative and finance activities
Work in close coordination with the Finance and Admin Manager
Coordinate travel arrangements including flight and hotel reservations
Other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or administration required
Minimum of three years of experience in finance and administrative and/or operational management, preferably in an international organization
USAID experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Discretion and respect for confidentiality is required
Knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required
Strong oral and written communication skills are required
Fluency in French required
proficiency in English preferred
