Project Summary:
BALADI CAP is a five-year, technical assistance program funded by USAID/Lebanon that advances the institutional capacities of Lebanese civil society organizations (CSOs) and municipalities/unions to improve the delivery of services to local citizens.

Position Summary:
MSI is seeking candidates for the short-term position of senior advocacy & networking associate.
Responsibilities:
During the period of performance, the senior advocacy & networking associate will perform the following activities in close coordination and cooperation with the BALADI CAP chief of party (COP) and project team:
Conduct an advanced training on “Advocacy” to all BALADI CAP CEI Network members (approximately three [3] workdays)
Conduct an advanced training on “Networking” for each of the three (3) CEI Network members (approximately nine [9] workdays).
Conduct coaching sessions, as needed, to the three (3) CEI Network members on “Advocacy” and “Networking,” and report results to the BALADI CAP team (approximately thirteen [13] workdays).
Qualifications:
- Masters’ Degree and/or Ph.D. in NGO/CSO Management, Leadership, or related areas.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience related to advocacy, capacity building, strategy, organizational development, networking, or related areas.
- Previous experience working with civil society organizations (preferably, Lebanese CSOs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly organized work habits, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; fluency in French preferred.
